Michael starts T-Ball

The girls have been earning money this summer selling homemade lollipops. So far, it's been a great venture!
There he is....up at bat!

Michael takes his sports pretty seriously. He was pumped to play T-ball. He thought for sure that his first game was going to be televised. He was also disappointed that there was not a huge crowd. But we cheered as loudly as we could and he adjusted pretty quickly. He has a good arm and swing, but is still learning the game play strategy.

Swimming at Lake Michigan

There is more to the story, I just couldn't get the photos to upload. Here is Rachel. She is my daredevil and was jumping off the rocks.

Jane is a water-monster and has no fear. She will put her entire face in the water and just laugh. She doesn't even care how cold the water is.

Michael has to pose for every shot I get of him.

The lake water reminded me of Bear Lake, pretty cold.

Bella collected quite a bit of sea glass.

Those are our kids out there on the rocks. Isn't it pretty how you can't see the other side of the lake? It's like going to the beach. (without big waves and seaweed and saltwater)

While the Boys are Away....

Fathers and Sons is a highlight of the year in our family. We love to shove the boys out the door. This time a got a couple of photos of the girls' fun. We had a little spa adventure and movie night. I love my girls!

Funny Farm

We had a delicious dinner of roasted hot dogs followed by marshmallows. They got to feed the horses.

Rachel held this goose the whole time.

The baby lamb was so cute! It ALMOST made me want one. Then I saw what a mess it made.

Bella was pretty good at this. They would milk the goat and give it directly to the lamb.

There's a family in our ward that raises some interesting animals. They even have a walleby which I didn't get a photo of. This was an activity days activity and they allowed us to bring our little ones. Jane and Michael couldn't get enough.

Fundraiser for My Neice Ellery

Memorial Day

A few days before Memorial Day, we went as a family to help put up the flags on the graves of the veterans here in Wisconsin. It was an awe inspiring task. I'm so grateful for all those that have served and continue to serve us and our country. (I wish I could take credit for the photo, but someone else with an awesome camera and fabulous eye took it.)
